Pool Rules and Regulations

Patron Safety is our first priority. Patrons refusing to obey the pool's rules are subject to removal from the premises. * 


All safety guidelines with an asterisk symbol (*) denote Washington Administrative Code 246-260-131.

General Rules

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

  1. No food or beverages other than water are allowed on the pool deck or in the pool water. *
  2. Glass is not allowed in the facility.*
  3. We do not allow the use, sale, or consumption of drugs or alcohol in the facility. We reserve the right to remove anyone displaying signs of intoxication from premises. *
  4. No running or any horseplay in the facility.* Horseplay includes: pushing, throwing persons from the pool edge, flips from the side of the pool, running, diving, dunking, tag, yelling, breath holding games or unauthorized games/behavior or foul language.
  5. No one with open wounds, communicable diseases, or experiencing vomiting or diarrhea within the last two weeks may use the pool, training pool, spa pool, or sauna.*
  6. No pushing, throwing persons from the pool edge, flips from the side of the pool, running, driving, dunking, tag, and unauthorized games.

  1. Everyone planning to enter the water should cleanse in a shower before entering the pool. *
  2. Anyone using swim diapers needs to use a protective covering over their diapers to prevent contamination. *
    Diaper changes may only occur in locker rooms, Handicapable restrooms, or the bathroom located on the pool deck. *
  3. A responsible paying individual in a swimsuit and the water accompanies children six (6) years or younger.
  4. A responsible individual accompanies children ten (10) years and younger in the facility while using the pool. *
  5. Lifeguard permission to use diving masks and snorkels.
  6. Lap swimmers to show lap lane etiquette when sharing a lane. (Up to 6 swimmers per lane)
  7. Non-swimmers stay in the shallow end of the pool.
  8. The Training pool is used primarily for non-swimmers, and that a paying responsible individual is within arm's reach in a swimsuit and the water at all times of their young non-swimmer.
  9. The use of U.S. Coast Guard-approved puddle jumper, lifejackets, and other water support means in the pool.
  10. Swimsuits are required in pools, spa pools, and sauna. No excessively revealing or see through material, must be swim material. No denim or street clothes.

  1. We require all divers to pass the Water Competency Sequence swim test administered by a lifeguard before using the diving board each time they visit the pool.
  2. Only one person is allowed on the diving board at a time. Until the person is clear from the diving area in the water, patrons will wait on the ground at the bottom of the ladder.
  3. We only permit forward-facing, diving, and jumping and front flips from the end of the diving board over the water. 
  4. No gainers, jackknives, back flips, side jumps or catching children from diving board.
    Only one bounce per dive or jump. 
  5. We prohibit goggles, earplugs, or life jackets while using the diving board.

  1. Children six (6) years or younger are prohibited from using the spa pool. * 
  2. An adult needs to accompany children between seven (7) and twelve (12) years in the spa pool. 
  3. A friend or adult needs to accompany anyone twelve (12) to seventeen (17) in the spa pool.
  4. No jumping into the spa pool. 
  5. You must be 18 years or older to use the sauna. 
  6. Please practice spa pool and sauna etiquette. 
  7. Persons suffering from heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure should consult a physician before using the spa pool or sauna. * 
  8. Persons who are pregnant or might be should seek a physician's advice regarding spa pool or sauna use. *
  9. We caution spa pool and sauna users to limit their stay in the spa pool or sauna to 15 minutes each session. *
  10. The sauna is electric-please do not pour water on the unit. 
  11. All sauna users must sit on a towel they provide.
