The Replacement Levy would replace the local levy that expires at the end of 2024.
Approval of the Replacement Levy is to assess $.20 per $1,000 of assessed property value and would generate an estimated average of $1.4 million each of the six years of the measure.
The district only collects up to the amount approved by voters.
Tax exemption
Low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities may qualify for exemption for property taxes. Additional information is available on the Island County website.
